FAQ's

Does Your Helpers Home Services screen the person coming to my home for suitability?

Of course! Our recruitment process involves face to face interviews, reference/work history checks, and every team member must hold a yellow card or NDIS Workers Clearance, have completed the NDIS Orientation module. Following this stringent process ensures we are bringing the right team members on to guarantee a great result that you will be happy with.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning and/or gardening services?

The decision to stick around or head out and take advantage of your free time is entirely up to you.  After getting to know you cleaner or gardener, you can leave a key in a "Key Lockbox."

How do we book a service?

You can book a service by completing our online referral form by clicking the "refer to us" button in the top blue menu. We will contact you within 24 business hours, Monday to Friday to arrange a home visit. 

Is there a contract?

No, there is no contract as the NDIS is all about “Choice” and giving you “Control”, we do however need to have a Service Agreement and Schedule of Supports in place, which outlines the services you will receive, and the estimated cost of services that will be applied to your plan. We will complete this in conjunction with coming to meet with you at the home visit.

Can Your Helpers Home Services visit my home before arranging services?

We come and meet with every client . This will ensure we match you with the right team member and to match your needs with the desired outcome you're wanting to achieve. We will also need to complete a risk assessment, service agreement and schedule of supports to ensure compliance with the NDIS.

Is Your Helpers Home Services fully compliant with all NDIS requirements?

Yes, we are. Registered NDIS providers are formally audited by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission to meet strict quality standards. Registered providers can support all participants:

  • Plan Managed
  • Agency Managed
  • Self Managed

Who supplies the equipment or products?

Our cleaners and gardeners will supply all their own cleaning products and gardening equipment so you need not worry about anything. Of course, if you prefer them to use your own cleaning products, please discuss this with them when they arrive. Your products are required to be in the original containers with labels on them for safety purposes.  

Do I have to call each time to book?

No. You never need to worry about forgetting to make a booking, your scheduled cleaning and or gardening is booked in advance at the frequency agreed to at your home visit. You will receive a reminder SMS on the Friday prior to your booking.
